About Essencia

Essencia Salon and Day Spa was founded in February 2001 by Janet Conigliaro. Her mission was to create a relaxing, warm and friendly environment where her friends and clients could escape the stresses of their daily lives. When searching for the perfect location, she found a beautiful Victorian house located just on the outskirts of Wilmington and decided this would be the most ideal place to make her guests feel at home.

Always on the cutting edge of the industry, Janet strives to provide her guests with customized experiences to suit their individual needs. The salon specializes in bridal party, prom and other formal event services as well as hair color, skincare technology and make-up.

It is Janet's mission to make sure that her guests leave satisfied, relaxed and with a smile on their face.
